Kafr a-Dik, Salfit District: Two weeks after heavily damaging nearby plot, settlers return and cut down dozens of grown olive trees

On Sunday morning, 7 February 2021, Muhammad Ahmad (50) discovered that settlers had cut down 30 30-year-old olive trees, as well as three seven-year-old olive trees. The plot lies about 500 meters north of Kafr a-Dik. Two weeks before the incident, on 23 January 2021, settlers cut down some 120 olive seedlings and damaged an agricultural structure on nearby land belonging to a farmers from Kafr a-Dik.

The settlement of Bruchin was established about 500 meters from the affected residents’ farmland.
